Sam and I had some time to kill the other day, so we went to nearby Elk River Falls. It's just a short hike in to the waterfall. Sam had a blast swimming and playing fetch and I enjoyed some relaxing time outside.
It's hard to believe my time here is coming to an end. I'm excited for my dad to come next week and show him around Banner Elk a bit. We're going on a river trip with EOW next Friday and will eat at my restaurant before departing back out west. I sure am going to miss this place.
